It may be closing weekend in Crested Butte for both the ski area and Black Tie Ski Rentals, but there is still plenty going on. Come hit the slopes one last time before they close for the year. Tonight, Friday April 3rd, Telluride Theatre’s House of Shimmy Shake Jukebox Burlesque show will be performing at the Center for the Arts. Saturday the events continue at Crested Butte Mountain Resort with the Rail Jam at 12:00 PM and the Slush Huck at 2:00 PM (please don’t use your Black Tie rental skis). The cost to enter each event is $10 and registration will be at Spellbound. Registration begins at 11:00 AM for the Rail Jam and 1:00 PM for the Slush Huck. Head over to Butte 66 at 4:00 PM for the last free concert of the Aprèspalooza series featuring Stephen Kellogg. Later Saturday evening, The Eldo and Montanya’s Distillery will also be hosting live music in town. Sunday morning, Crested Butte Mountain Resort will be hosting an Easter egg hunt beginning at 11:00 AM. After everyone is finished taking their last turns for the season, meet back up at Butte 66 for free music from up and coming artist Late Night Radio. No matter what you do this weekend, make sure you have fun! If we don’t see you out there, we will see you in November! Black Tie here in Crested Butte would like to thank all of you who used our service on your ski vacation.
